Removing the barriers between designers and analysts: "Simcenter 3D"

It is a CAE tool that directly imports design data and handles coupled analysis (multiphysics) within a single framework.

"Simcenter 3D," a powerful tool that integrates CAE solutions from various specialized fields, can perform coupled analysis (multiphysics) simulations such as structural-fluid, structural-thermal, structural-thermal-fluid, and structural-mechanical analyses. It allows for the direct import of design data, mesh generation, and analysis all within a single framework. This is the digital tool of the future that removes the barriers between designers and analysts.

PM motor control circuit coupling analysis solution

Introduction to the behavior model, which is a high-speed and high-precision motor model.

Electromagnetic field analysis (FEA) is a powerful tool for motor design and development, capable of considering magnetic saturation and dq-axis interference. Permanent magnet (PM) motors are typically driven by control circuits, and fast coupled analysis is required. At our company, we leverage the high speed and accuracy of EMSolution to create behavior models. By using behavior models based on FEA results, we can simulate behaviors equivalent to those of actual machines. Additionally, control coupled analysis often involves thousands to tens of thousands of steps, which can take several hours for direct coupled analysis with FEA. However, using behavior models reduces the computation time to just a few seconds. 【Features】 ■ Behavior model based on chain magnetic flux ■ Accurate reproduction of magnetic saturation, dq-axis interference, and slot harmonics ■ Enables fast analysis by using as motor elements in control circuit simulators like MATLAB/Simulink, or as nonlinear elements within control circuits *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Analysis of the acoustic characteristics of truck cabins.

A case study of modeling the vehicle body structure and the acoustic space inside the cabin, and conducting coupled frequency response analysis.

We would like to introduce our analysis of "Cabin Acoustic Characteristics of Tracks Using Acoustic Coupled Analysis Function." In recent years, considering low noise environments has become very important. It is effective to use finite element method analysis to understand the acoustic characteristics of the cabin during the design phase and to reduce noise transmission to the operator through structural considerations. In this case, we used the Simcenter Nastran structural-acoustic coupled analysis function to model the vehicle body structure and the acoustic space within the cabin, conducting a coupled frequency response analysis to determine the acoustic transmission characteristics from the vehicle body mounting points to the operator's ear position. 【Case Overview】 ■ Function Used: Simcenter Nastran Structural-Acoustic Coupled Analysis Function ■ Analysis Content - Model the vehicle body structure and the acoustic space within the cabin - Conduct coupled frequency response analysis - Determine the acoustic transmission characteristics from the vehicle body mounting points to the operator's ear position *Detailed information about the case can be viewed through the related links. For more details, please feel free to contact us.
